What We Are Looking For

We are now looking for a Director who will be an exceptional ambassador for the organisations and people represented by CDHN. The successful candidate will be impassioned about addressing health inequalities through community development in Northern Ireland, and will have a strong track record of strategic and operational experience relevant to the role.

The Director has overall responsibility for the effective development and management of the organisation; for providing advice and guidance to the Board of Trustees on major strategic and policy issues; and for ensuring the effective implementation of CDHN policies, strategies and procedures. She/he has responsibility for the successful implementation of any current contracts to deliver training, support or other relevant services; identifying and responding to opportunities to generate additional income for CDHN; ensuring that CDHN’s programme of activities is delivered in an effective and efficient manner; for budget preparation, financial monitoring and for controlling expenditure.
