Who we are:

For more than 40 years we have been standing shoulder to shoulder with people as we support them to transform their lives, creating safer communities for all.  With 600 staff across the island of Ireland and a £25m+ turnover, we are Ireland’s leading social justice charity.  Extern Group comprises Extern Ireland and Extern Northern Ireland. We help the homeless or facing homelessness; refugees: the Traveller community; people who have been through the criminal justice system; living with the impact of suicide; people dealing with mental health issues; and people ealing with drug and alcohol issues.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Group CEO with a strategic head and a commitment to excellence on behalf of the people we serve.  The postholder will have the ability to drive change in a complex organisation, to set the agenda for the group and its delivery partners, to influence stakeholders to the benefit of Extern’s service users, and to motivate and manage a world-class team.
